Amazfit has recently introduced their newest smartwatch called The Amazfit Ares. It features a polycarbonate design and has a 5ATM water resistant rating.
The Amazfit Ares features a 70 sports mode and houses FIRSTBEAT Professional sports analysis algorithm (checks VO2 Max, Recovery time, Training Load, Training effects) and huami-PAI health assessment system to enhance fitness activities and challenging self limits.
The fitness also features Huami’s self developed sports algorithm that monitors and records 40 key sports indicators like heart rate, speed, altitude. The heartbeats are tracked utilizing BioTracker PPG bio-tracking optical heart rate sensor.
The Amazfit Ares specifications features a 1.28-inch always-on touch display and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It also has an anti-fingerprint coating as well. The smartwatch is compatible with most Android handsets and iOS devices.
The handset will be powered by a 200mAh battery that should give the user about 90 days of usage on basic watch mode. In daily use mode, you should get about 14 days of battery life while with GPS on, the user gets about 23 hours of usage. There is also GPS + GLONAA for route tracking.
