According to a research firm, Apple is still the most valuable brand globally in 2022. Research firm Brand Directory has released its report on the most valuable global brands in 2022 and Apple remains at the top spot on the list. As per Brand Directory, Apple is the most valuable global brand in 2022 with a brand valuation of $355.1 billion.

The above-mentioned brand value is calculated by the research firm and is based on the insights and data from the research firm’s Brand Directory. It does not represent Apple’s actual brand value, also the company has not confirmed this brand value.

Here is the list of the top 10 Most valuable Global brands as per the research firm Brand Directory.

The Cupertino-based tech firm’s brand value increased by 35 percent on a yearly basis as compared to the previous year. It is also the highest valuation that a research firm has calculated for any brand to date. Also, the iPhone maker became the first company in 2022 to reach a market valuation of a staggering $3 trillion.

Research Firm Brand Directory says:

“Apple had a stellar 2021, highlighted by its achievement at the start of 2022 – being the first company to reach a US$3 trillion market valuation. The tech giant’s success historically lied in honing its core brand positioning, but its more recent growth can be attributed to the company’s recognition that its brand can be applied effectively to a much broader range of services.

The iPhone still accounts for around half of the brand’s sales. However, this year saw Apple give more attention to its other suite of products with a new generation of iPads, an overhaul to the iMac, and the introduction of airbags. Its range of services, from Apple Pay to Apple TV, has also gone from strength to strength and become of increasing importance to the brand’s success.”

As per the report, Apple generates almost half of total sales from iPhone. However, now the company is focusing on other products and services like the new generation iPad, new iMac with M1 chip, accessories like Air tag, and services like Apple Music and Apple TV. The success of Apple TV has also contributed to achieving a higher brand value.

Going forward in 2022, the Cupertino headquartered tech firm’s brand value will increase further but it will face stern competition from rival brands like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.
