Apple’s iPhone 12 is slated for the release in October or November and there are few leaks of iPhone is coming out. The iPhone 12 will feature the latest Apple’s A14 Bionic Chip which is 40% faster than the A13 Bionic chip.
The chip is built by the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company or TSMC and is built around 5nm architecture. Due to its 5nm architecture, it will boost the CPU performance up to 40% and increase the GPU performance even more.
Apple’s A14 Bionic Chip:
A twitter leakster reveals that there is not only a 40% increase in CPU but there is an expected 50% increase in the performance. With this increase, iPhone 12 will become the fastest phone in the world and beat the competition easily.
Unlikely the leakster hasn’t revealed much apart from this information. The leakster didn’t mention the number of cores for the performance and efficiency in the upcoming A14 chip. The details of the cores will give more reason about the increase in such massive performance.
Although there are benchmark reports that the A14 chip is much faster than the A12X bionic chip. A12X chip has been used in the 2018 version of the iPad Pro and has a total of 6 cores.
If the benchmark results are true then it means that Apple boosts the performance without the addition of the new cores. Some reports also show that the A14 Bionic chip is also faster than the 15 inch MacBook Pro. The 15 inch MacBook pro has been powered by the Intel Processor. This reveals that Apple has achieved something extraordinary with the ARM-based chipset.
It is also to be noted that this information is only leaked by a tipster. The authenticity of the news will come out when the actual benchmark result will come.
The iPhone 12 will be scheduled to be released in September as usual. But due to the COVID-19, there are some supply chain issues due to which Apple delayed the launch. Now the iPhone 12 will be expected to come out in late October or in November.
