Earlier there were reports that the Honor brand has not yet received Google’s Android authorization so its upcoming smartphones will come without Google Mobile Services. Without Google Mobile Services (GMS) means that the company will not be able to sell many devices globally resulting in a fewer sales forecast for the global market.

After the reports emerged online, Honor officially responded and said that these claims were false. The company became part of GSMA on 28th May 2021. GSMA works for the development mobile market outside China.

Since its independence from Huawei late last year, the company has developed a team of 8000 peoples. This means they have a complete corporate system and have a proper R&D, Sales, procurement, manufacturing, and marketing department.

They have also restored their partnership with Qualcomm for the Chip supply starting from June this year, according to the brand CEO.

Honor also develop a partnership with companies like AMD, Intel, Samsung, MediaTek, Qualcomm to streamline its supply chain and will procure smartphone components from these manufactures. Like many manufactures associated with Honor, the company gives a signal that they have received the Google Android Authorization and will release smartphones with Android OS.

They are also planning to launch a smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC in the second half of the year probably Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50 with Snapdragon 775G. Honor 50 series will be unveiled in June according to the reports. There are also reports that the company will also release smartphones in its magic series. The devices in both number and magic series will come with the Google Mobile Service (GMS). That means they include support for all the Google apps including the play store for the market outside China.
