Galaxy S21 FE

Galaxy S21 FE has launched today after being in rumors for a quite long time. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) is a trimmed-down version of the regular Galaxy S21 with almost similar specifications and is a successor of Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.

The device comes with almost similar specifications to the regular Galaxy S21 but at a slightly low cost of $699. Samsung aims to bring the flagship features to a slightly low cost with this device.

The design of this device looks quite similar to the Galaxy S21 device with a triple rear camera system at the back in the vertical camera module, a flat display with a punch hole at the top center and a matt finished back panel.

Samsung brings this device in four color options like its predecessor i.e., Graphite, Olive, Lavender, and White.

Galaxy S21 FE features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The display on this device Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120 Hz higher refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling.

Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC which is also used in the regular S21 series. The device comes in three storage variants that are 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB.

On the rear side is a triple camera system housed in a vertical camera module. The camera system includes a 12 MP main sensor with OIS and Dual Pixel Auto Focus, a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor with FoV of 123 degrees, and an 8 MP telephoto lens that offers up to 30x space zoom. There is a 32 MP selfie camera in the punch hole cut out at the top center of the display.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is powered by a 4500 mAh battery pack that supports 25W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and a wireless power share option. The device is the first from Samsung to come with One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 out of the box.

Some other specifications include 5G support, an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, NFC, IP68 water and dust resistant rating, and Samsung Pay.

The device is priced at $699 for the base storage variant which is similar to its predecessor and lower than the Galaxy S21.
