We now have our first look at the Google Pixel 8 Pro images thanks to @Onleaks via Smartprix. In the leaked images, you can see the CAD design of the upcoming Google Pixel 8 Pro due to be released in the second half of the year.
On May 10, 2023, Google will hold it’s Google I/O 2023 event. Just like last year, there is a chance that Google will officially tease it’s Pixel 8 series. At Google’s Google I/O conference last year, the Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 7 were teased.
According to the leaked images, the design was inspired by it’s predecessor, but there are a few noticeable differences. We have a little knowledge about the expected specifications of the device, which we will discuss later in the article, but there is not much official information about it’s specifications.
From the images, it appears that Google has ditched the curved display from it’s previous Pixel Pro devices. Instead, we have a flat display with rounded corners. Also, Google has opted for rounded corners instead of flat ones, which makes it very comfortable to hold.
On the rear, we find the same strip that houses the camera module and the LED flashlight as the previous two generations. The camera module has changed slightly, as all three camera sensors are now located in the exact oval cutout. Additionally, a new mysterious camera sensor is beneath the dual-tone LED flashlight. At the moment, little is known about this new camera sensor, but it could either be a depth sensor or a macro sensor.
Google Pixel 8 Expected specifications:
There is not much known about the actual specifications of the device but there are some online speculations about the device. The device is expected to have a 6.52-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has dimensions of 162.6×76.5×8.7mm which is slightly smaller than the Pixel 7 Pro’s 162.9×76.6×8.9mm. It is expected to come with the third generation of Google’s own Tensor chip known as Tensor 3. This Tensor 3 is rumored to be based on Samsung’s Exynos 2300 chipset which is unannounced at the moment.
These are some of the rumored specifications of the device. We will let our readers know more about Google’s Pixel 8 Pro when more information appears online or when the device is actually announced.
