Citing an unknown source, 9to5Google said the upcoming Google Pixel Watch will last upto a day on a single charge.
While it’s still early to determine the battery life Pixel Watch, considering previous leaks of this smartwatch having only a 300mAh battery, it shouldn’t last more than a day on general use. Further, it’s said to be using Google’s WearOS, and an old chip from Samsung.
Expected Battery Life of Pixel Watch
Conforming the design leaks, Google last month teased it’s first-ever smartwatch called the Pixel Watch, alongside Pixel 7 and 7 Pro handsets. While the launch of these devices is still far away from months, we now have a detail regarding the battery life of the upcoming Pixel Watch.
As per 9to5Google, the Pixel Watch may last upto a day per single charge, said citing an unknown source. The same outlet previously said the watch has a 300mAh battery, so it is expected to last only a day on general use.
Well, this detail is expected to be about the base model of the Pixel Watch, which comes only with WiFi support. So the other high-end – LTE variant with a bigger battery may have more lifespan on a single charge. Well, these rumors will be around until Google makes the smartwatch official, so take these details with a pinch of salt.
More leaks about Pixel Watch are about the processor – which is said to be an old one from Samsung. Several outlets shared that Google’s Pixel Watch may house the Exynos 9110 chipset – which Samsung used in it’s Galaxy Watch Active2 back in 2018.
Well, it’s at least expected to come with the latest WearOS, which has a ton of features to consider as a competitive smartwatch. The Pixel Watch is expected to launch alongside the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, later this year.
