Samsung Galaxy S21

Samsung Galaxy S21 series is around the corner and will be unveiled in January according to the sources. Before the release, the images of the devices got leaked and we have our first look at the upcoming flagship from Samsung.

The series consists of three devices with the name Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21+,and Galaxy S21. The leaked images are from the most reliable source LetsGoDigital. The publication also posts images of the devices.

We have already known some specs and the features of the upcoming flagship series. If we talked about the images, we have already seen these images. But this time they seem to be more accurate and refined. The images which leaked last month are similar to what we have seen this month.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra details:

It will be the higher-end model among the three and comes with top-of-the-line specs and all the bells and whistles. This device will slightly differ from the S21+ and S21 and comes with some extra features.

The build quality of the device is top-notch and it comes with glass on front and back. On the rear side of the device is the vertical camera module. Inside the module is the triple rear camera along with the dual-tone LED flash. ISOCell Vision 3D ToF sensor is also present inside the camera module. It is fairly a new sensor seen in the Samsung device.

The main camera is expected to be the 108-MP lens. It is an HM3 sensor and has a 12% increased light sensitivity. There is also a 12-MP ultra-wide lens and two zoom sensors. Out of the two, one is periscope 10x optical zoom and the other is 3x optical zoom. A 40-MP selfie camera is present on the display.

Display and Internals:

The front display is an OLED panel of 6.8-inch diagonal. It is slightly smaller than its predecessor. It is a curved display with slim bezels and will be of a higher refresh rate. This display panel will have an adaptable 120 Hz higher refresh rate. There are some rumors that Samsung might implement a 144 Hz display panel.

Under the hood, this device will come with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC in few markets. Users in the US, China, and Korea will get the Snapdragon model. The rest of the world will get the device with Samsung’s own Exynos 2100 SoC. Both the SoC is 5G chipsets and have a built-in 5G. This device will be launched in two storage configurations i.e., 12GB/128GB and 16GB/256GB.

The device will get the same battery capacity of 5000 mAh with the support of 25W fast charging. The same amount of battery is also used in its predecessor.

Samsung Galaxy S21+ details:

Samsung Galaxy S21+ will come with a plastic rear panel similar to the Galaxy Note 20. But the device will get the metal frame which is sandwiched between the display and rear panel. On the rear side, the device will have a triple camera setup. The camera module is slightly similar to the Galaxy S21 ultra. These three cameras are 12-MP main lens and an ultra-wide lens. There is also a 64-MP 3x hybrid zoom lens. The LED flashlight is placed outside of the camera module.

It will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display panel with a 120 Hz higher refresh rate. Samsung uses a flat display instead of the curved in this device.

There are rumors that its battery will be 4800 mAh instead of the 4500 mAh used in S20+. This device also supports 25W fast charging. This device will also use the same top of the line flagship chipset.

The Vanilla S21 variant details:

It is the basic variant of the series and comes with a cheaper price tag when compared to the other two. It is built on the same plastic body with a metal frame and a flat display. In this Samsung uses a 1080p display panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood is the same 5GB chipset but it will start with the 8GB RAM variant. On the camera end, it will feature the same rear camera used in the Galaxy S21+.

All these devices will be unveiled in January but the official date is unclear. We will let you know when the device will get official and the more details and pricing of the device.
