The Honor Magic 5 Pro was announced as the company’s flagship device of 2023 at the Mobile World conference in Barcelona, Spain. Since splitting from Huawei a few years ago, Honor has gradually developed it’s own brand identity and this device will surely help the company gain more global market share.
It is a successor to last year’s Magic 4 Pro and comes with decent upgrades. There is a focus on camera performance, a huge battery life and fast charging speeds on this device. Check out the detailed specifications of the device below.
Honor Magic 5 Pro Specifications:
A triple rear camera system is housed in a large circular camera ring on the device’s back. According to the company, the camera ring is called a “Star Wheel Triple Camera system”. It features a 50MP lens with a customized 1/1.12 inch sensor and an aperture of f/1.6. This is a significant upgrade from the Magic 4 Pro’s f/1.8 sensor and 1/1.56 inch sensor. Optical image stabilization is also available on the primary camera, which wasn’t available on last year’s Magic 4 Pro.
In addition to the primary camera, there is a 50MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.0 aperture, as well as a 50MP Sony IMX858 periscope sensor with f/3.0 aperture. A 3.5x optical zoom is also included in the periscope sensor.

In the top left corner of the display, there is a pill-shaped cutout that houses dual selfie sensors. Dual sensors include a 12MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture used for selfies and a 3D depth sensor for face unlocking. A fingerprint scanner is also built into the display for enhanced security.
Since it is a flagship device, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
