Add The Same App To Multiple Home Screens

Sometimes, some of the apps make us so addicted that we love having them almost on all our devices. You too, are likely to have at least one or more of such useful apps on your iPhone from Apple that you would love to have on multiple home screens. While the tech gurus are quite experts in doing this, novice or those from not-so-techie backgrounds often find it hard to have the icon of their favorite app on multiple home screens on their iPhone. Few years back, you will remember that you enjoyed having an app either on any one of the Home Screens or the Dock. However, this all changed with iOS 15, which allows you to create app icons of the same application on numerous Home Screens and the Dock.

So, you can now add the same app to multiple home screens. Doing this is easy if you keep following this article to get an idea of the steps involved.

How can you add the same app to multiple Home screens with ease?

This step-by-step guide will help you create numerous copies of a particular app icon on the Dock and Multiple iPhone Home Screens.

Step 1: Start with swiping LEFT on the last Home Screen to view the Apple App Library.

Step 2: Now, look for the app followed by pressing it for a long duration until the same is able to make copies of the app icon on your iPhone Home Screen. You can also press the app icon for long and then slightly move it on the left to make sure the same is added to the Primary Home Screen.

Step 3: Another method is to tap on the SEARCH BAR in the App Library or simply Swipe Down to view all the listed apps. These apps are listed in alphabetical order. Next, search for the app, followed by long-pressing its name (remember it’s not the app icon being said here). Move the same to the left to the Home Screen.

Once you can see that the app icon has been created, it is time to repeat these steps multiple times to make multiple copies of the above-mentioned ‘app’. Then you can simply move all these app icons just like you do with normal apps and take them to the Dock followed by the first home screen, the second home screen, and so on. It depends on the number of home screens you have on your iPhone.

Wrapping Up

In order to remove the app icon, all you need to do is hold and press the app icon on the home screen for a certain duration, followed by tapping on the option REMOVE APP. The next step is to tap on REMOVE FROM HOME SCREEN. You have to repeat it for the time you have created the app icon copies. Once you are done with this, remember that you can now find the app only in the App Library of your iPhone or through the Spotlight Search menu. Remember that if you tap the option- Remove app followed by Delete App and Delete, that will end up completely uninstalling the app from the phone and disappear from the App Library.
