Battery health is one of the main aspects of good laptops. It is also a necessary feature for many of us as we want good battery life so that we can use our laptop for a long time on a single charge.

But over the period of time, our laptop batteries depreciate and lose some of their value. If you are using Windows 11 and want to check the battery life of your device then in this article we will tell you how to do that.

Battery Health of Laptop in Windows 11:

You should regularly check the battery health of your laptop to see for any warning signs and issues that need to be resolve on an immediate basis so that they won’t cause any major problems.

If there are some problems relating to the battery then you should immediately resolve them so you won’t get any trouble while doing some important tasks.

Let’s see how you can check the battery health of laptops in Windows 11.

Click on the Windows icon in Windows 11 on the taskbar to open the start menu and search Windows PowerShell.

Run Windows PowerShell as an administrator.

The system will ask you to “allow this app to make changes”, click on yes.

A new PowerShell window will open, type the following command in it.

powercfg/batteryreport/output”C:\battery-report.html”

Hit Enter to run the command

Once the process will finish you will see a text confirming “Battery Life Report saved”.

Now close the PowerShell window.

Next open File Explorer on your Windows 11 laptop.

Go to the drives section.

Open “C-Drive” on your laptop.

You will see the “Battery Health” report saved on the C-drive.

The file will be in “HTML” format and will open only in the browser.

Open the file in any of the browsers you use like Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.

The report gives the detail about the battery of your laptop and various other things. It includes battery type, makes, health, capacity, and usage.

If you find any warnings or issues relating to your battery then you should replace the battery or get the issue resolved from the repair center.
