Stop Spam Texts On iPhone

Spam texts are very common and you too probably get a lot of spam texts on your iPhone. But, if you’re not careful, those spam texts can really start to add up.

That’s why it’s good to know how to stop spam texts on iPhone. There are a few different ways to do this, and we’ll walk you through a few of the most effective methods.

If you’re getting spam texts on your iPhone, you can do a few things to stop them. First, you can block the number that’s sending them. To do this, go to the Messages app, open the conversation with the spammer, tap on their number at the top, and then tap Block this Caller.

You can also report the spam texts to your carrier. To do this, first take a screenshot of the text and then send it to your carrier’s spam report number. For example, AT&T’s spam report number is 7726 (SPAM). You can also block the texts.

How to stop spam texts on iPhone

Head to the Settings on your iPhone and scroll down to go to Messages

Next, tap on Message Filtering > Filter Unknown senders > Slide the toggle to on it.

Now, open the Message app, and you will be asked which messages you would like to see.

Click on known senders to only see messages from contacts.

This way, you can filter the messages that you want to see.

Besides, you can install a third-party spam blocker. There are several options to choose from. However, our favorite is Hiya. It’s free to download, and does a great job of blocking spam texts. They typically work by allowing you to add numbers to a blacklist. Once a number is blacklisted, you’ll no longer receive texts from that person.

Finally, you can simply block the numbers that are sending you spam texts. This will stop the texts from coming through, and you won’t have to deal with them anymore.

So, go through the steps mentioned here and put an end to the spam texts you’re getting on your iPhone. Don’t tolerate them any longer – take action and stop the spam!
