The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is an Android phablet smartphone designed, developed and marketed by Samsung Electronics as part of the Samsung Galaxy Note series. It was unveiled on 9 August 2018, as the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

The Note 9 has a 6.4 inch 1440p Super AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The design on the front is otherwise similar to the Note 8, using an “Infinity Display” as marketed by Samsung.

The Note 9 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC in the U.S. and China or a Samsung Exynos 9810 SoC outside the U.S. & China. It has 128 or 512 GB storage options. The 128 GB model has 6 GB of RAM while the 512 GB has 8 GB of RAM. All models also have a microSD card slot as well potentially maxing out the phones storage to nearly a Terabyte of data.

The Note 9 has IP68 water & dust resistance and a USB-C connector that supports Samsung DeX without a dock and the phone also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack along with AKG tuned stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

How To Turn OFF Sidebar On Samsung Galaxy Note 9 / Note 10 / Note 8:

One of the exciting features that everyone is talking about on the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Note 10 is the sidebar feature. You can utilize this feature by swiping from the edge of your display inwards, dragging the sidebar into the display. The sidebar gives you a wide range of easy to access functions that will greatly improve the functionality and user quality of your Galaxy Note. The sidebar will give you features such as Contacts or the Quick Tool option.

On your new galaxy note smartphone, the sidebar is usually turned on by default. However you can also disable your sidebar so that it does not appear on your Note display at any point in time. The following steps below will show you how to remove the sidebar option on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Note 10 and Galaxy Note 8 from your screen display.

How To Turn OFF Sidebar On Note 8, Note 9 And Note 10:

Open your Home screen

Open your apps menu

You then need to open the General Settings

Once you have accessed the settings, select “Page Screen.”

Tap the Page Panels option

You will see a toggle allowing you to enable and disable the sidebar function on Note 10, Note 9 or Note 8 device.

Once you leave this menu, you should no longer see the sidebar or the sidebar symbol on the top of the display. This should help to clear your display view. If at any time you decide that the sidebar should be turned back on, you can switch it on back again by returning back to the same menu and sliding the toggle in the opposite direction.
