Now the developer of Magisk “John Wu” recently released the stable version no 22.0 of Magisk Manager. This stable version of Magisk now supports the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. So in this article, we will show Samsung Galaxy S21 users “How to update to the new version no 22 of the Magisk in the Magisk app. We will also show you how you can switch to the stable build of Magisk. You can read all the new changes and details about Magisk v.22 from the link. This article is for Galaxy S21 users who have previously rooted their device with Magisk Canary.
PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE NEW APP HIDING FEATURE THERE ARE SOME INCOMPATIBLE ISSUES WITH THE CURRENT VERSION OF MAGISK. SO IF YOU’RE UPDATING TO THE NEW VERSION YOU WANT TO USE RESTORE “YOUR EXISTING” MAGISK MANAGER BEFORE UPDATING. THIS WILL ONLY BE AN ISSUE IF YOU’VE THIS SPECIFIC FEATURE BEFORE.
So let’s get started.
Open Magisk Manager on your device.
Tap on the Gear Icon at the top.
In the “App” section, tap on “Update Channel”, then tap on “Stable”.
Go back to the main app again.
In the “App” section, Tap on the “Update” and then Tap on “Install” to install the updates.
Allow “Install apps from unknown/other sources” to continue.
Open the app again.
In the “Magisk” section, tap on the “Update” to again update the app.
Choose “Direct Install” from the options. Then Tap on “Let’s Go” on the top.
Once the process will complete, Tap on the blue “Reboot” button at the bottom.
Your devices will reboot. It will take some time to reboot so relax and wait.
Once you are on the home screen, open the app again and check the Magisk version.
You are on the latest version of the app as there will be no update available.
