Nubia recently introduced their first 5G gaming smartphone in China called the Nubia Red Magic 5G. The smartphone will feature an in-display Optical fingerprint sensor and comes with special gaming features such as Dual Gaming Buttons and 2-stage toggle switch to easily enter gaming mode.
The handset will run on Android 10 based Red Magic OS. The Red Magic 5G will also feature a 6.55-inch multi-touch AMOLED display along with 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen will feature FHD+ resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone has unique in-game frame rate compensation technology which guarantees stability at each frame.
To give it’s user the best performance possible the Nubia Red Magic 5G comes packed with an octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC. It will be available in variants of 8GB / 12GB / 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.0 storage options. In order to keep this gaming smartphone cool during usage, Nubia incorporated an Air Cooling and Liquid Cooling ICE 3.0, which is a 3-dimensional multi-dimensional cooling system.
The Nubia Red Magic 5G will be powered by a 4500 mAh battery which supports 10A air-cooled turbo fast charging. It will also feature PPS fast charging protocol (compatible with PD3.0 and QC4.0). It is supposedly able to charge up to 56% in 15 minutes, 90% in 30 minutes and 100% in 40 minutes. On the side of the smartphone there are 7 doc points as well.
The camera specifications will feature a triple camera setup on the rear side of the smartphone. It will feature a 64MP main camera which has a 1/1.7-inch Sony IMX686 sensor. It also has 8MP wide-angle and 2MP macro shooters on the rear as well. Selfies will be taken by an 8MP front camera.
