OnePlus 9RT has finally launched in India, a couple of months after it was launched in China. This is the fourth phone in the OnePlus 9 series and is a successor to last year’s OnePlus 9R. It also brings some significant improvement over its predecessor.
From the looks, the device looks quite similar to its siblings i.e., the OnePlus 9 and 9R. There is a triple rear camera at the back arranged in a vertical style in a rectangular camera module. There is a flat display with the hole punch at the top left corner which houses the selfie camera. The device comes with a metal frame similar to the OnePlus 9R and in two color options i.e., Nano Silver and hacker black.
On the front is a 6.62-inch Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED flat display along with a 120 Hz higher refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. The display has a significant improvement in touch sampling rate which is 600 Hz, much higher than its predecessor which has a 240 Hz touch sampling rate.
Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC another improvement over Snapdragon 870 found in the OnePlus 9R. The device launched with two storage options i.e., 8GB RAM with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
There is also a significant improvement in the camera department. This time there is a 50 MP Sony IMX 766 primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 16 MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2 MP macro sensor, and a dual-tone LED flashlight. The camera system supports 4K video recording, slow-motion videos, dual-view mode, night mode, and portrait mode.
The device is powered by 4500 mAh battery with support for the 65W wrap charging, it comes with an Android 11 based Oxygen OS 11 out of the box, face unlocks option, stereo speaker, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and Dolby Atmos.
The base variant with 8/128 GB is priced at Rs 42,999 while the higher-end variant with 12/256 GB is priced at Rs 46,999.
