Oppo A57 5G goes official today as another device in the mid-range A series. It is the successor to A56 launched last October and comes with some incremental upgrades over it’s predecessor. Let’s have a detailed look at the specifications of Oppo A57 5G.

It is a dual sim device that runs Color OS 12.1 based on Android 12 out of the box which is a good sign considering it’s mid-range price tag. It boasts a 6.56-inch HD+ display panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a 90 Hz touch sampling rate. The display looks slightly dated as there is a waterdrop notch at the top center which houses the 8 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Oppo A57 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC which is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a memory card. There are two storage variants available for this device i.e. 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage and 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. On the rear side is a dual-camera system which consists of a 13 MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2 MP portrait sensor.
Other specifications include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The device is launched in China today and is priced at CNY 1,499 for the 8+128GB variant. While there is no official word on the pricing of the 6+128GB variant. The device is available in three color options which are Lilac, Blue, and Black. The global launch date and pricing are yet to be revealed by the company.
