Hardly a month after the Pixel 6 series launch, leaks regarding the smaller version in this series – Pixel 6a started popping up now.
Fresh leaks revealed the Pixel 6a’s body design, which is seen bearing a glass body design similar to the standard Pixel 6 handset. Also, with two rear cameras, a front camera in pinhole, speaker grills and USB at the bottom, and volume controls plus power button at the side. No internal specifications have leaked yet.

Pixel 6 series is by far the best offering from Google, only in terms of paper. It comes with the latest cameras, stylish looks, and even an in-house-made chip called Tensor. While these excited the user, many are complaining about various issues while using Pixel 6 and 6 Pro units.
Some include the slow response of the fingerprint sensor and display flickering issues. While Google is readying a fix for them, fresh leaks regarding the smaller variant of Pixel 6 – Pixel 6a started surfacing now. The upcoming Pixel 6a will have body dimensions of 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.7mm, with the rear camera bumping width by another 1.7mm. The handset will be cheaper and smaller than the regular Pixel 6 series but comes with the same dual-tone design and glass back panel. It will have a 6.2″ OLED display with a pinhole at the top center to bear the front camera.
At the rear, it will have two cameras with LED flash in a horizontal line. With an in-display fingerprint sensor, Pixel 6a will have the USB-C port at the bottom, coupled with two speaker grills – one as a microphone and the other as a speaker, volume, and power buttons on the right edge and only SIM tray at left. Surprisingly, this will be the first Pixel phone to come with no audio jack!
