Realme has announced The Realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ in china as a successor of the Realme 9 series. Earlier, the OEM launched the vanilla Realme 10 globally with minor upgrades as compared to it’s predecessor. The Realme 10 Pro series comes with many upgrades over it’s predecessor that includes a better chipset for faster performance, 120Hz refresh rate, curved AMOLED display, improved cameras, and much more. Realme 10 Pro specifications:
The smartphone comes with a hyperspace design which is inspired by the hyperspace tunnel. The rear panel consists of two big circular rings for the dual rear camera system.
The front has a 6.72-inch flat Full HD+ display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, and a peak brightness of 680 nits in broad daylight. It is for the first time that realme opts for a 120Hz refresh rate display on it’s numbered series. At the top center is a punch hole cutout for the selfie camera which replaces the pill-shaped notch used in it’s predecessor.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. There is an expandable RAM option using the internal storage and the internal storage is expandable using a memory card.
For optics, there is a dual rear camera system that consists of a 108MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The front has a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
Realme 10 Pro is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It runs on Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android 13.
Realme 10 Pro+ specifications:
The 10 Pro+ model has also the same design but a slightly bigger display and a triple rear camera system. It features a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 800 nits of peak brightness, 2160 PWM dimming, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, and HDR10+. This is also the first time that realme has used a curved AMOLED display along with a fast 120Hz refresh rate in its numbered series.
The Pro+ model is powered by a MediaTek chipset instead of a Qualcomm chipset. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The RAM can be expanded up to 8GB through the Dynamic RAM feature using internal storage.
For optics, there is a triple camera system on the rear side that includes a 108MP primary sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The camera system supports features like QuickShot Acceleration Engine, Super Nightscape Engine for enhancements, and Image Fusion Engine. For selfies, there is a 16MP selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole cutout at the top center of the display.
Another difference of both the Pro models is the charging speed. The Pro+ model comes with a faster 67W fast charging as compared to it’s sibling while there is the same 5000 mAH battery in both these devices. It also runs on Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android 13.
