Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has recently introduced their newest Redmi 9 handset. The details are at par with specifications unveiled by an online retailer.
It will be featured as a budget smartphone along with a rear placed fingerprint sensor and will support face unlock. On the front end it comes with a 6.53-inch LCD display that has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It features FHD+ resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio and comes with a 89.83% screen-to-body ratio.
The Redmi 9 specifications comes packed with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor along with 3GB / 4GB RAM variants and 32GB / 64GB storage options. On the front end there is an 8MP fixed focus camera whilst the rear end features a quad-camera setup of 13MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP cameras.
The smartphone will be powered by a 5020mAh (typ) battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 and 18W Fast charging. The Redmi 9 comes with a 10W charger. It also features a USB Type-C port for this. NFC is supported in select models.
