Along with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series, Xiaomi also announced Redmi Note 12 Discovery edition with 210W fast charging technology. For the first time, Xiaomi officially announced a smartphone with this amount of fast charging. Check out the detailed specifications of the devices below.

It is similar to the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ with a triple camera setup in a vertical camera module at the rear side and a punch-hole cutout flat display at the front side.
The display is a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED panel with 1080 x 2,400 pixels resolution, HDR10+ support, DCI-P3 color gamut, Dolby vision support, 120Hz fast refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of up to 900 nits in broad daylight. At the top center of the display is a punch-hole cut out for the front camera.
Under the hood is the same octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, built on a 6nm fabrication process as seen in the Redmi Note 12 Pro and 12 Pro+. The device also has the same Mali-G68 GPU for handling games and graphics-intensive tasks. The chipset is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.
There is a triple rear camera setup on the backside. The camera setup includes a 200 MP primary camera with f/1.65 aperture and optical image stabilization. The primary camera is paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field of view and a 2 MP macro lens. On the front is a 16 MPP camera for selfies and video calls.
The device is equipped with a 4300 mAh battery call and supports 210W wired fast charging. The OEM has also included a 100W fast charger in the retail box. The company claim that the included charger in the box can charge the device from 0 to 100% in just 10 minutes.
It runs on MIUI 13 custom skin based on Android 12 out of the box. Other specifications include a USB Type C port, 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and all other sensors.
Pricing:
The device starts at CNY 2,399 for the base 8GB + 256GB storage variant in China, and global availability is not confirmed yet.
