Samsung Galaxy M62 might be the next high-end device in the Galaxy M series. the Korean OEM already has many devices in its budget series and is planning to add more.
Samsung Galaxy M series launched two years back in India and gradually moves towards the global market. Since its launch, the Korean Smartphone giant added many devices in the series. Among all the devices launched in the series, 2019’s Samsung Galaxy M40 is the most powerful device in the “M” series. Similarly, M51 launched this year to hold the title of the most powerful device in the “M” series.
This is again going to change in the upcoming year 2021 with the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy M62.
Samsung Galaxy M62 is the upcoming High-End device in the Galaxy M series
SamMobile reported the Samsung is working on another device in the M series which might be named Samsung Galaxy M62. Additionally, the report also claims that there are chances that this device will be the most popular Samsung device in 2021.
As of now, there are no official details available from Samsung. But the device will bear a model number SM-M625F. With this model number, the name Samsung Galaxy M62 makes sense.
The interesting thing is that the device will come with a huge 256GB of internal storage. With this, it is the first device in the “Galaxy M” series to have this amount of internal storage.
This is not it, 256GB is the Maximum internal storage option in this device. There are chances that the device will offer multiple storage options ranging from 64GB to 256GB. As there is no official confirmation available from the OEM so many details of the device are unknown.
If we look at this year’s Galaxy M51, then it is the first device with a humongous 7000 mAh battery. With this amount of battery capacity, Samsung takes the battery game to another level. It seems like the Samsung Galaxy M62 might also come with this amount of battery. We have to wait to see whether this amount of storage and battery in a device attracts more users or not.
If we talk about other features then the device will likely follow the ongoing smartphone trends. Trends like a quad camera on the rear side and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Samsung will likely ship this device with the latest One UI 3.0 based on Android 11.
More details about this will come to light in the coming months. As of now the official launch of the device is somewhere in 2021. There are chances that Samsung Galaxy M62 will share the same internals similar to Galaxy A52 or A72.
