Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Specifications Confirmed Through Official Posters

A leaker specified the fast charging speed of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra would be 45W, unlike the previously reported 25W speed.

This isn’t an upgrade though, as Samsung offered the same speed for Galaxy S20 Ultra too, in 2020. Yet, it’s touted the Galaxy S22 Ultra shall come with a 5000mAh battery with 45W support, that would juice up the handset up to 70% in just 35 minutes.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Fast Charging

Irrelevant to drought in the chipset industry and worsening macroeconomic factors, it’s good to see Samsung is actively manufacturing the Galaxy S22 Series as per timeline. While the company is gearing up to launch the new flagship series in Q1 next year, we have fresh news on the fast charging speed of its high-end handset.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is going to be the top-notch offering from Samsung next year, will reportedly come with a 5000mAh battery and 45W fast charging support. This is tipped by a prominent Samsung leaker, Ice Universe.

He also said the touted 45W charging can boost Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s battery from 0 to 70% in just 35 minutes. While this is good news for Samsung fans, this isn’t an achievement for Samsung itself, as the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s battery too had the 45W fast charging support, with a battery capacity of the same 5000mAh.

Also, Samsung shouldn’t be playing down in this critical sector as Chinese players are aggressively investing resources in this. Several OEMs like Xiaomi, Oppo, and Realme are offering to light fast-charging speeds to their high-end handsets. And with few trailing with 200W fast charging speed, Samsung should be leveling up anyway.

Other leaks regarding the Galaxy S22 series include its body shape, stylus support, display design, and rear camera set-up.
