Samsung opens up the registration form for interested developers to try out its pre-beta phased One UI 3.0. Samsung mentioned that it’s only available for approved developers to test this beta, so as to ensure the compatibility of the application store with the software. Also, it’s currently open for eligible developers in South Korea and the USA, and be available to other nations soon.
Samsung Seeks Developers For One UI 3.0 Beta Testing
Samsung has been a prominent brand in making premium handsets. Even though it had a rough past with TouchWiz and Tizen OS for mobiles, its One UI is now gradually liked by users. All because it’s constantly feeding it with new features and sending timely updates. And now, as the next iteration, Samsung has prepared the One UI 3.0 and is seeking eligible developers to beta test it.

As reported by 9to5Google, Samsung has opened up a registration form for partner developers in South Korea and North America to register for beta testing the One UI 3.0. It plans to make it available for India, Germany, China, Poland and the UK soon. Also, it mentioned that it needs the developers to have eligible handset – namely the Galaxy S20 (comprises of S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra) to test this pre-beta.
There’s another catch too. Samsung strictly mentioned that only approved developers will be allowed to test this pre-beta version, reasoning this as “to help ensure application store applications are compatible with the beta software before the public beta period.” So, if you’re an eligible developer for conducting the “compatibility testing with specific service providers and device models“, you can register here.
Samsung has been applauded for not missing the monthly security updates from Google and pushing them in mix with its One UI for its Galaxy S20 Ultra. While the entire S20 and S10 are running on One UI 2.5 as latest skin, some of the devices are already testing the Android 11 based beta builds. And now with the release of stable Android 11 OS, we hope Samsung may not take much time in mixing the flavours with its native bloatware.
