Samsung resumed it’s Android 12 based One UI 4.0 update for its foldable and Galaxy S21 series after terminating it for a few days.

The company started rolling out a stable Android 12 update for some Galaxy devices after the public beta program. But, Samsung temporarily halted the update due to bugs reported by some users which include Google Play compatibility issues as reported by XDA Developers.

Beta users then receive a new test update to resolve bugs and issues. The company took some time to find the root cause of the issues and now finally it has started rolling out the stable One UI 4.0 update based on Android 12.

The new update is more stable and bug-free and will be available for Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Google works with different OEMs to bring the latest Android update as soon as possible. But there are some issues that occur due to the modification OEMs made in the codebase of stock android. The more modifications OEM made there are chances of more bugs in the update.

Samsung faced the Google Play compatibility issue when it launched the stable One UI 4.0 update based on Android 12 for Galaxy S21 series devices, galaxy Z Fold 3, and Flip 3.

To resolve these issues, Samsung and Google worked closely together and found a solution to resolve the Google Play compatibility issue on Galaxy devices. As the issue has been resolved now, all users of the Galaxy S21 series and third generation of foldable are receiving the stable update.

The build number of the new update for global users is G99xBXXS3BULC while for Korean users the build number is G99xNKSS3BULC. While the new update build number of Galaxy Z Fold 3 is F926xxxS1BUL6 and for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, the build number is F711xxxS2BUL6.
