Samsung starts rolling OneUI 5.0 beta based on Android 13 from Galaxy S22 series

OneUI 5.0

Samsung has decided to roll out OneUI 5.0 Beta based on Android 13 for Galaxy S22 users which is a bit of relief for the users. Android 13 beta is already available for supported Google Pixel devices. Samsung became the latest OEM to offer the Android 13 beta to it’s Galaxy S22 users.

As the official Android 13 is just around the corner so we can say OneUI 5.0 beta is a bit late but now users can try the new features of the upcoming Android version.

Samsung’s new custom skin based on Android 13 will surely get all the latest features of Android 13 along with some added features and options from Samsung.

There are not many changes in the overall user interface in the new OS update as compared to the last generation but there are many changes under the hood and some new features and options are also included to make the user experience more pleasant.

In Android 13, Google’s main focus is on security instead of making more changes in the user experience and the same is the case with The OneUI 5.0 OS update. Currently, the update is rolling out for Galaxy S22 users in Germany but other regions will soon get the update.

OneUI 5.0

The South Korean smartphone giant has not clearly mentioned what new features are coming with the update. But we can hope that Samsung shares more information about the update at it’s upcoming Unpacked event in which the company will announce it’s upcoming foldable devices. The OEM also has to make the official announcement about the beta rollout for Galaxy S22.

More Samsung devices will gradually get the OneUI 5.0 beta update as the update is only available for the Galaxy S22 series. The official stable update rollout will commence when the testing is properly done and when Google will officially release the stable update for Pixel devices.
