Sony Boasts About All-Clear PlayStation 5 Sales, Working on More Units

While we see that PlayStation 5 is garnering enough craze outside, we haven’t heard that officially from Sony yet. But lately, Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony’s Interactive Entertainment boasted about PS5’s all-clear sales! Taking to a Russian media, he said that the sales of PS5 were great, and they’re working on bringing more units to fulfill the demand.

PlayStation 5 is Selling Like Hot Cakes!

Sony’s latest iteration of PlayStation, the PS5 consoles are selling rapidly, as claimed by Sony’s Interactive Entertainment CEO, Jim Ryan. Taking to TASS, a Russian media, he said as “Everything is sold. Absolutely everything is sold. And everything will be sold in Russia, there’s no doubt about that.

Further, “I’ve spent much of the last year trying to be sure that we can generate enough demand for the product. And now in terms of my executive bandwidth, I’m spending a lot more time on trying to increase supply to meet that demand.”

Thus, it’s confirmed that Sony’s having a joyride with its PS5 sales. But that doesn’t mean Microsoft’s Xbox is dull. Many who bought the consoles are happy, and even appreciating the linkup with Xbox Game Pass. Purchasing this virtual pass will let users play hundreds of titles and with gamers around the world.

Sony’s PlayStation has its own version of this, called PlayStation Now. This top offers similar advantages like free games, exclusive and steep discounts on selected titles, the ability to play with other online gamers, etc. While Ryan declined to comment on anything special about their PS Now pass, he said that something big is coming about it.

At last, he talked about making more units of PS5 to meet the current demand. While we expect these consoles to be stacked in bulk on Black Friday, they may soon be sold out considering the demand. Ryan further explained over 75% of the buyers were PS4 owners, and are also the early adopters of PS5.
