Stardew Valley Console Commands

Stardew Valley is a role-playing simulation game available on all the major platforms, such as Windows, Linux, macOS, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, iOS, and Android. The game is considered one of the best in this particular genre. However, there are some game mods that can help players to play the game more easily. In this article, we will discuss the cheats and Stardew Valley console commands that will allow players to play without limitations, making the game even more exciting.

Note– We do not advise playing the game using cheats as it will make it less adventurous. You can use the cheats to break the limitations whenever you are stuck in the game.

Stardew Valley Console Commands and Cheats

You can play the game by using two methods, with and without the cheats and mods. Here, we will discuss both for your convenience.

Stardew Valley without MOD:

Some of the mods of the game can be a bit too much. So, here are the methods that you can apply if you want to play Stardew Valley without MOD.

Move beyond boundaries Glitch

This is a glitch on the game that you can use to your advantage. For example, when you swing your weapon or try to attack, your character automatically moves a bit forward. Using this same glitch, you can move your character beyond the boundaries in some regions. You can do it by simply pressing the attack button to move forward to the other side of the region.

Infinite Energy Glitch:

This is another important benefit you can get by attacking repeatedly or swinging in motion. You can use it to gain infinite energy. For that, you will need to exit the game’s boundaries in the spa, go to the pool, place down a post in the water, and touch it. This will make the game system think that you are swimming, giving your character infinite energy.

Stay awake beyond 2 AM:

The character in the game automatically gets sleepy whenever the clock hits 2:00 a.m. Not only that, but the person who saves you from this situation and gets you back home also takes away part of your funds. In this situation, you must try to open and close your journal repeatedly. Please remember that this trick will not entirely help you avoid sleep but will at least give you the time to reach your home without sleeping off on the way.

Item duplication Glitch:

This is also named as infinite money glitch. To use that to your benefit, you will need to name your character using item codes with one to three codes. This is how you will get diamonds, Golden pumpkins, and some void essence for free whenever your name appears in the dialogue. You will need to go to the Gus at the Stardrop Saloon and every time your name pops up in dialogue during the conversation, you will have your reward. This glitch can be used as many times as you want.

Stardew Valley Item Codes:

Here we have mentioned the item codes of the game that you will need to keep in mind to avoid facing problems.

Stardew Valley with MOD

It is better to play Stardew Valley with mods or cheats, especially if you get stuck between the games. There are two standard mods or cheats that you can use to your advantage. They are CJB Cheats Menu and the CJB Item Spawner. If you want to install these two mods, first you will need to install another one which is called SMAPI. Here we have mentioned how you can do that:-

  • First, create a Nexus Mods account to start the download process
  • Now, download SMAPI, extract the contents, and run the .bat file
  • Now, simply follow the on-screen instructions to install the Mod
  • Once it is done, you will see a message on your screen – “SMAPI is installed! If you use Steam, set your launch options to enable achievements (see smapi.io/install):”
  • Make sure to copy the entire line, including the quotes
  • Now, right-click on Stardew Valley in your Steam library followed by opening the properties option
  • Next, go to the set launch options section and paste the text there
  • Click OK and close
  • Now, download both the CJB Cheats Menu mod and the CJB Item Spawner mod
  • Extract the contents of both the mod folders into your game’s mod folder that you can find under “Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley”.
  • Once you are done, you can open a dedicated Stardew Valley mods center by pressing the “P” key during the game. Here, you will see the cheat menu with all the amazing mods that will help you make your game easier.
  • If you are willing to open the Spawner mod, you just need to hit the “I” button on your keyboard. It will allow you to pick any item from the game and put it in your inventory.

Here are the benefits that you can get with the cheats and mods:

  • You can get infinite Health and Energy
  • You can increase your movement speed
  • You can pause or unpause time
  • You can complete the quests instantly
  • You can alter your relationships with NPCs
  • You can change the weather and many other things.

Ending words
