It’s almost the end of the year and OEMs are now preparing for their releases for the next year. From OnePlus there will be the ninth generation of its premium device “OnePlus 9”. Since the launch of the OnePlus 3, there is always a hype of every OnePlus device.

In 2020, OnePlus changes its strategy of launching only two series per year. This year they have launched some mid-range devices also to capture a large chunk of the audience. Oppo’s sub-brand for the first time launched six devices in a year. Three of these six devices are mid-range which shows that the company is now also focusing on mid-range segments.

It is not clear yet, whether there will be more mid-range devices from this Chinese company next year. But it is confirmed that there will be the successor of 2020 “8 series” devices which will be the OnePlus 9.

As usually these days smartphones get leaks intentionally or unintentionally online and this OnePlus 9 is no different. There are some early leaks and rumours which show the design elements of the device.

This is How the next generation of OnePlus device, OnePlus 9 might look like

The device will be launched at its scheduled time in March 2021. However, the first picture of the upcoming device leaks online. The picture was published on the blog 91mobiles.com and they claim that it is a CAD render of the image.

From the early images, we get an idea about the design of the upcoming device. On the front side, there will be a flat OLED display and we expect this display is as good as the OnePlus8 series. On the top, left corner of the display is a single punch-hole cut-out where the selfie camera will be located.

There will be a triple rear camera in a vertical camera module on the back similar to this year’s OnePlus 8T. The design of the rear camera module is similar to this year’s OnePlus 8T but the camera sensors will be different. Out of three camera sensors, two of them are largely similar to the iPhone 12 series.

Other Features:

This will be a flagship device from the OEM so it will get all the latest and greatest tech a company can offer. On the front, the display will be a 6.55-inch OLED panel with a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. It also includes flagship Snapdragon 875 based on 5nm fabrication. Oxygen OS based on Android 11 and fastest 65W flash charge.

These are some of the early rumours and some of the design elements or specs might change as there is a lot of time left for the release of the device.
