Turn JavaScript On / Off Chrome Browser Android Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+

If you can’t view websites or pages won’t load/render on your device, checking your JavaScript settings often helps.

Note Ensure your Google apps are up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.

From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon > (Google) > Chrome Chrome icon.

If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap Chrome Chrome icon.

Tap the Menu icon Menu button icon (located in the upper-right).

Tap Settings.

From the Advanced section, tap Site settings.

Tap JavaScript.

Tap the JavaScript switch to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
