Twitter to Introduce a Tool For Checking if You're Shadowbanned

Making one of the most visited sections interesting, Twitter is seen testing a new UI for Explore tab in India. This is available for select users of Android and iOS clients.

As per it, the new Explore tab follows a scroll-up type for exploring new tweets, similar to TikTok’s home feed. Also, the general subcategories of topics were replaced with just two categories – For You and Trending.

Twitter Experimenting New UI

Following the footsteps of several American tech companies, Twitter is now using TikTok’s famous content display style – scrolling up. As announced by the platform, Twitter is testing a new Explore UI in India, with few select users on Android and iOS clients.

The new UI completely changes how users see new tweets and have only two main categories now – For You and Trending. The For You section is where you’ll experience the new scroll-up display of new tweets, mostly with videos. And in Trending, you shall see the general list view of topics trending around you.

The new Explore tab with a scroll-up display of tweets covers the whole screen, playing the video tweet automatically until you swipe up/down or hold onto it. With just two tabs and nothing else, the new Explore section looks more clear and simple now. The universal search bar is still available, so you can find profiles and related tweets as before.

As said, this is currently available to test only in India for a select group of people on the latest Android and iOS versions. It’s unknown when it will be rolling to other users. Twitter has recently launched Labs to let Twitter Blue subscribers test any new features earlier than others.

Besides this, Twitter is also working on more new features like pinned conversations, a downvote button, a new ad format, and the ability to share longer videos.
