Vivo is actively developing its next-generation flagship smartphones, the Vivo X500 Series. Fresh details about the upcoming vivo X500 Pro Max have now surfaced online, revealing its advanced camera details. As per a reliable Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, the vivo X500 Pro Max will feature a triple-camera system comprising two 50MP sensors and a high-resolution 200MP camera.
The primary camera is expected to use Sony’s latest 50MP 1/1.28-inch LOFIC sensor, which is designed to deliver improved dynamic range, better low-light performance, and enhanced image quality across various shooting conditions. This is also the first time that LOFIC technology will be introduced on a Vivo smartphone. The standout feature of the setup is said to be the 200MP 1/1.4 size periscope telephoto camera offering exceptional zoom quality.
For ultrawide photography, Vivo is reportedly testing an upgraded 50MP Sony IMX8-series sensor. However, the company is also evaluating a smaller 50MP alternative. The device will feature a premium, large 6.9-inch display and will be powered by MediaTek’s next-generation Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset based on TSMC’s 2nm process.
