Vivo is nearing the launch of its next-generation X500 series which will debut next month in China, with the lineup expected to include the Vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed details about the upcoming phones’ designs, display sizes, and processors.
According to the leak, the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max will feature large, centrally positioned circular camera modules on their rear panels. In comparison, the standard X500 is expected to adopt a smaller circular camera bump placed toward the upper-left corner. The new models are also said to feature more rounded corners compared with their predecessors.
The vivo X500 Pro could feature a compact 6.37-inch display, while the X500 Pro Max is tipped to come with a significantly larger 6.85-inch screen. The standard X500 is expected to sit between them with a 6.59-inch panel. The X500 series could bring a major chipset upgrade. The standard X500 is reportedly set to use a 3nm processor, likely to be MediaTek Dimensity 9600. Meanwhile, both Pro models are rumored to use a more advanced 2nm chipset, with the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro.
However, the camera specifications could also be a major highlight. The X500 Pro is rumored to feature a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.28-inch LOFIC sensor, alongside a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. The X500 Pro Max could retain the same main camera while upgrading to a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
All three models are expected to pack large batteries with the base X500 and X500 Pro featuring 7000mAh level battery while the X500 Pro Max with 8000mAh level battery. All three models will also be equipped with 90W fast wired and 50W wireless charging.
