Xiaomi 13 Lite

Today, Xiaomi announced it’s Xiaomi 13 series for the global market. Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro in China last year. Besides these two devices, Xiaomi has also announced another device called the Xiaomi 13 Lite, which will also be available worldwide.

Xiaomi 13 Lite is a trimmed-down version of the Xiaomi 13 series that focuses on camera improvements and performance. Check out the detailed specifications below.

Xiaomi 13 Lite specifications:

A successor to last year’s Xiaomi 12 lit, it offers incremental improvements. It wasn’t released with the regular Xiaomi 13 series in China but instead was rebranded as Xiaomi Civi 2 for international markets. The phone has a plastic body and a vertical camera island with three cameras on the back.

It has a 6.55-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The display supports Dolby Vision, and HDR10+, and can render 68 billion colors with its 12-bit panel. There is a pill-shaped cutout at the top of the display for the dual selfie camera and an under-display fingerprint scanner at the bottom.

There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor under the hood, which is 30 percent faster and offers 20 percent more GPU performance than it’s predecessor, the Xiaomi 12 Lite. It is paired with an 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Out of the box, it runs MIUI 14 based on Android 12.

On the rear side is a triple camera system headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture which is present in many premium smartphones. The other two cameras include an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there is a dual camera system at the front which includes a 32MP main sensor along with an 8MP depth sensor.

Xiaomi 13 Lite is powered by a 4500 mAh battery cell same as it’s predecessor and it supports 67W wired fast charging with no wireless charging support. Other specifications include NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5,2, 5G, and dual-sim support.
