Xiaomi 18 Pro Series Gets 3C Certification With 100W Fast Charging

Xiaomi is in full swing for development of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Series. The brand is preparing to launch the much anticipated series next month in China. Today, the Xiaomi 18 Pro series received China’s 3C certification. The latest certification has revealed an important detail about the charging capabilities of the upcoming devices.

According to the 3C listing, Xiaomi smartphones carrying the model numbers M154FF and M311AD support 100W wired fast charging. These devices are believed to be the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.

Earlier SRRC certifications reportedly revealed that the devices will support the N79 5G band and UWB technology, suggesting that Xiaomi is continuing to expand connectivity features on its premium flagship lineup.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro series is also expected to bring a major performance upgrade. The smartphones are rumored to be among the first devices powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. The processor is expected to use a 2nm manufacturing process, delivering improved performance and power efficiency over current 3nm-based chips.

Camera upgrades are also very significant. The Xiaomi 18 Pro is rumored to feature a 200MP primary camera and a 200MP telephoto macro sensor. Meanwhile, the Pro Max could feature a 200MP LOFIC main sensor, a 200MP telephoto macro camera and an ultrawide sensor.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is also tipped to pack an 8,000mAh-class battery, while both Pro models may retain Xiaomi’s distinctive rear display with additional functionality.
