Xiaomi unveiled Redmi Note 11 series with MediaTek chipset

Redmi Note 11 series officially launched in China today with the MediaTek Dimensity chipset. The series comprises three models i.e., the Vanilla Xiaomi Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro +.

Both the Pro models are identical apart from battery capacity and fast charging. The Note 11 Pro comes with a huge 5160 mAh battery pack with support of 67W fast charging. The Note 11 Pro+ comes with a 4500 mAh battery with support of 120W fast charging. It is also the first Redmi Note device to come with the 120W fast charging that can charge the 4500 mAh battery in 15 minutes.

Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro+ Specifications:

As mentioned, both the Pro models come with identical specifications apart from battery capacity and charging speed.

These devices come with a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a higher 120 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz touch sampling rate. Both devices feature an upper mid-range octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 system on chip and come with three variants. These three variants are 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB of RAM and storage options.

On the display is a punch hole cut-out that houses the single 16 MP selfie shooter. These devices come with a triple rear camera setup. There is a main camera sensor of 108 MP lens with f/1.9 aperture which is similar to its predecessor. The main camera lens is supported by an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP telephoto macro lens.

Other specifications include a 3.5 mm audio jack, USB Type-C for fast charging, MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, IP53 rated, and VC liquid cooling system.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro pricing starts at CNY 1599 (USD 250) for the 6/128 GB variant while 8/128 GB cost at CNY 1899 (USD 300) and 8/256 GB cost at CNY 2099 (USD 328).

The Pro+ pricing starts at CNY 1899 ( USD 300) for 6/128 GB, CNY 2099 (USD 330) for 8/128GB and CNY 2299 (USD 360) for 8/256 GB.

The vanilla Note 11 is a slightly trimmed-down version of the Pro models and comes with a few downgrades. It features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ flat display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset and it comes in four variants. Users can choose from either 4/128 Gb, 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, or 8/256 GB.

The display also has the punch hole cut-out for a 16 MP selfie camera while there is a dual rear camera on the backside. The main camera lens is 50 MP along with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and an LED flashlight. The vanilla model comes with a huge 5000 mAh battery but with only 33W fast charging. It also comes with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, USB Type-C, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6- and 3.5-mm Audio Jack.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the vanilla Note 11 starts at CNY 1199 (USD 188) for the 4/128 GB variant. While 6/128 GB variant cost at CNY 1299 (USD 200), 8/128 GB cost at CNY 1499 (USD 235), and 8/256 GB cost at CNY 1699 (USD 265).
