ZTE Axon 40 Ultra has been announced today for the global market and the sale will begin on June 21. The device comes with the third generation of under-display selfie camera which is the USP of this device along with the flagship-grade specifications like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Let’s talk more about the detailed specification of this device.

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Specifications:

It is a flagship device that comes with all the bells and whistles present in flagship devices like the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The device features a 6.8-inch Curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate. The display has a pixel resolution of 1116*2480 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. At the top center of the display is a third-generation 16 MP under-display selfie camera or UDC.  And there is an under-display optical fingerprint scanner at the bottom part of the display.

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset which is built on 4nm fabrication. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It is available in four storage variant that are 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. There is a limited edition that comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

On the rear side is a vertical camera module that looks like it is inspired by the Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra. The camera module has a 64 MP triple camera setup that includes a 64 MP SONY IMX787 primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture, a 64 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 64 MP periscope telephoto sensor.

It comes with a MyOS 12 custom skin based on Android 12 out of the box. ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 65W fast wired charging and a 64W charging brick is included in the retail box. Other specifications include a dual-stereo speaker, NFC, USB Type C connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.2.
