Amazfit Bip S Tips And Tricks

The Amazfit Bip is an excellent smartwatch with many unique features and settings. It comes with sleep tracking, GPS, heart rate monitoring, and much more. Here, we will discuss some of the best Amazfit Bip S tips and tricks, so let’s start.

Amazfit Bip S tips and tricks

  1. Create your own watch faces

You may know about the MI fit app that allows you to change your watch faces, but you can’t personalize it from this app. For this purpose, you have to install Amaztools on your phone and connect that with your watch. With this tool, you’ll be able to make your own watch face.

Besides that, you can also control your phone’s flashlight, camera, and even the Spotify account through this app.

  1. Get rid of the disconnect alarm

As Amazfit is not a standalone smartwatch, it sends continuous notifications if you go far away from your smartphone. The alarm will notify you that the smartwatch is disconnected. It can be annoying sometimes, but fortunately, you can get rid of these alarms. For that, check out the steps mentioned below:

Go to Amazfit Bip in the Mi Fit app

Head towards “more”

Toggle off “Disconnection Reminder”

Now, you’re good to go.

  1. Customize heart rate detection frequency

The heart rate sensor senses from your wrist and detects your heart rate. You may not need every minute of heart rate detention as it also requires a huge amount of power. If you want to customize the heart rate intervals to something that matches your preference, you can do it by going through some easy steps:

Go to the Mi Fit app

Click on “Amazfit Bip” and scroll down to “Heart rate detection”

Select “Detection frequency”

From there, you can set your choice whether it is 10 minutes or 30 minutes

Note: You can also choose a sleep assistant that monitors heart rate while sleeping. If you want to have an eye on your heart rate while you sleep, it’s the best option for you.

  1. Customize the long button press

Like any other Amazfit Bip, Amazfit Bip S only has a single press button. You can use that to go home from any app. But, if you want, you can customize that so that it can take you to the app or feature of your preference.

After customization, you just have to long-press it to activate a specific workout. Follow the steps mentioned below for that:

Scroll to the ultimate right and go to the settings all

Click on the Long button press

It will bring a list of programs and activities, including outdoor running, treadmill running, cycling, walking, etc.

Just click on the activity you prefer

Note: You can completely turn it off by choosing “nothing” from the list.

  1. Don’t let sleep tracking ruin your sleep

If you want to keep your smartwatch on for sleep tracking but don’t want it to turn on in the middle of your sleep, there is a solution for you that you can use. Follow the steps mentioned below:

Go to the Amazfit Bip section of the Mi Fit app

Scroll down to the option of “Lift wrist to view info.” and click it

You’ll see an option to schedule a time here

You can add your preferred time here. Suppose you don’t want your smartwatch’s display to activate between 10 pm to 8 am; set the time accordingly, and it won’t activate.

Note– You can still use the sleep tracker.

  1. Customize app notification

Your Bip S will send you notifications of third-party apps that you can’t filter or customize. You can install an application called “Alert Bridge for the Amazfit” for that purpose. It allows you to filter out notifications based on text. If you don’t want to get any Amazon offer notifications, you can set it to ignore notifications containing the text “Amazon”.

  1. Control your camera

You can control your camera by using the crown button. Amazfit Bip doesn’t have this facility inbuilt. You have to use a third-party app for this purpose called “MI Band 2/3 &Amazfit selfie.” Connect this app with your watch and use the crown button as your camera shutter.

So, try applying these Amazfit Bip S tips and get the best out of your smartwatch.
