How To Calibrate Battery Capacity Huawei P20 / P20 Pro:

Huawei phones use a lithium-ion polymer battery, and the capacity of such battery decreases with battery use (cycles of mobile phone battery charging and discharge).

Huawei batteries are strictly screened, managed, and controlled. During manufacture, tests are performed to ensure proper product quality. Therefore, a new phone’s battery capacity will be slightly reduced due to tests. However, the actual battery capacity will not be significantly smaller than the designed capacity.

Due to algorithm difference, third-party apps may make mistakes. In this case, it is recommended that you use your phone until the battery level is lower than 10%. Power off the phone for 20 minutes, charge the battery until it reaches the battery level of 100%, and keep charging the battery for another 30 minutes. Use the third-party app to test the battery capacity again and you will obtain a more accurate battery capacity value.
