Apple has already enabled easy-to-use in-build features on Mac. One of them is to take screenshots. The first method requires adjusting the webpage in the browser so you can easily take a screenshot. Here is how to proceed:

Open the webpage that you wish to capture as a screenshot. If the entire webpage is not visible, click on the double arrow located on the top right-hand corner of the screen – Chrome, Safari, and Firefox offer this feature.

Next, hold the Command key and simultaneously press the ( – ) minus key to adjust the page till everything fits on the screen and you don’t have to scroll the webpage to see the content.

On your keyboard, hold together Command + Shift + 4 keys together. A cursor will appear on the screen. You need to click the mouse button and drag it to highlight the entire webpage. The area that is highlighted shows that this will be copied or saved as a screenshot.

Once the entire page is highlighted release the mouse button, you will hear a click sound (if the sound is on), and the highlighted area will be saved as a screenshot on your desktop as a .png image.

If you want to return the magnification level to its original view, then move the cursor to the top of your Mac screen, and the menu of Apple desktop will appear on the screen. Click on the double blue arrows towards the upper right-hand corner, and you will exit the browser’s full-screen mode. Hold the Command + 0 buttons together to return the browser’s magnification level to zero.

If you want to view the screenshot you just took, go to your desktop and double-click on the saved image to open it in the Preview window. If you wish to save it in a different format, click on File and select Export to change it to a different format, such as .gif or .jpg file.
