LG has recently introduced their newest VELVET smartphone. It features a 3D arc design along with a Waterdrop camera setup on the rear. Its triple rear camera setup are vertically arranged to give an impression of falling water droplets.
The smartphone measures 74.1mm in width and comes with a thickness of just 6.8 mm. The 3D Arc design gently bends towards the left and right edges of front display. Its oval shaped edges comfortably fits inside palms, while the use of metallic materials at the edges gives a premium feel.
The LG Velvet comes packed with a 6.8-inch Cinema FullVision OLED display offering 20:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking. LG has also included stereo speakers along with Artificial Intelligent sound to offer immersive video experience.
The handset will run on Android 10. It will be powered by a 4300mAh battery and features a low-power software algorithm to minimize unnecessary power consumption, even on a 5G scenario. The battery supports fast charging and 10W wireless charging as well.
The LG Velvet camera specifications will feature a 16MP front camera. On the rear end there is a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP (main) + 8MP (wide-angle) + 5MP (depth) cams and LED Flash. At the device core you will see an 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM, which can be expanded upon up to 1TB using MicroSD card.
Standard connectivity features such as 5G (SA/NSA), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm Audio Jack will be present as well.
