OnePlus 12, the next flagship from OnePlus will be announced on December 5th in China. The company has moved forward with the release of the device as it was previously announced that this device would be announced during the company’s 10th anniversary celebration.
Just a few days before the announcement of the device, the company itself revealed the design of OnePlus 12 in a Weibo post. The revealed design looks very similar to the leaked renders of the device that appeared online earlier.
From the HD images shared by the OEM itself, the device has the same design language and build as the OnePlus 11 which launched in January of this year. There is a hole punch cutout at the top center of the display for the selfie camera and the display is curved with very minimal bezels all around the display. On the rear side, there is a quad-camera system with a circular camera module with a Hasselblad logo indicating that OEM has continued it’s partnership with German lens manufacturer Hasselblad. The device will also be available in three colors which are Pale Green, White color, and Rock Black (translated from Chinese).
It is a flagship device and will come with top-of-the-line specifications. As per the information available, OnePlus 12 will feature BOE’s ProXDR display with 2K resolution and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. OnePlus claims that this is the first smartphone in China with a 2K resolution display to have an A+ certification from Display Mate.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and it will have a new custom X-axis motor for gaming. It runs on ColorOS14 based on Android 14, out of the box.
The actual specifications will be revealed when the device goes official. Most of the specifications mentioned here are based on leaked rumors. SO, stay tuned to get more update about the device when it will be unveiled on December 5th.
