Xiaomi Mi Kids Watch 4 and Mi Kids Watch 4 Pro announced

Xiaomi has recently introduced their two latest smartwatch for kids called the Mi Kids Watch 4 and Mi Kids Watch 4 Pro. It comes with impressive features as well as an eSIM for 4G VoLTE calling at major operators in China.

The Mi Kids Watch 4 is currently priced at 899 Yuan (USD$ 125 / Rs. 9650 approximately) whilst the Mi Kids Watch 4 Pro is currently priced at 1299 Yuan (USD$ 183 / Rs. 13,920 approximately). Both will be available in China starting from the 9th of April and will be available in Blue and Pink colors.

Xiaomi Mi Kids Watch 4:

This smartwatch will be swim proof up to 20 meters depths. It will be compatible with smartphones running on Android 4.2 or iOS 8.0 or above.

It will feature 4G VoLTE support via eSIM and also comes with a built-in speaker and microphone. The smartwatches will be powered by a 920mAh battery which should give the user about 8 days of battery life. The smartwatch comes with several sleep and activity tracking functionalities.

The Mi Kids Watch 4 comes with a 1.78-inch AMOLED display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen will feature a 368 x 448 pixels resolution at 326ppi pixel density.

In terms of camera specs, it will feature a 5MP front camera located inside the notch coupled with another 5MP rear shooter. Connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.2 LE, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and nFC are supported.

Xiaomi Mi Kids Watch 4 Pro:

This is a slightly premium version of the base Kids Watch 4. It features a 1.78-inch AMOLED display along with 368 x 448 pixels resolution, 326ppi pixel density and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Mi Kids Watch 4 Pro specifications will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 SoC along with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM (eMMC). It is swim proof of up to 20 meters and will feature several activity and sleep tracking features.

This particular smartwatch will be powered by a 920mAh battery which should give the user about 8 days of battery life. It will feature a 5MP front and 5MP rear cameras. There is a speaker as well and a microphone for taking voice calls ,4G VoLTE via eSIM.

The smartwatch is compatible with devices running on Android 4.2 or above and iOS 8.0 or above. Connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.2 LE, NFC and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
