Xiaomi is gearing up for a major product launch on 26th June 2025, introducing the much anticipated clamshell MIX Flip 2, Redmi K80 Ultra, and a new Redmi K Pad. Of course the devices will be introduced in China first, with a global launch planned later.
Xiaomi MIX FLIP 2: What We Know So Far?
Xiaomi MIX FLIP 2 will sport a 6.8 inch inner LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display will also be a 1.5k resolution 120hz LTPO panel.
The Mix Flip 2 will be equipped with the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The foldable device will have dual rear cameras with an Ultrawide sensor this time instead of a telephoto. The cameras will be co-engineered with Leica. The battery capacity is likely to be around 6000mAh with fast 90W wired charging and wireless charging.
Xiaomi has also added IPX8 certification to its Flip lineup, enhancing the durability of the device.
Redmi K80 Ultra
Redmi K80 Ultra will feature a 6.82-inch 1.5k K resolution flat screen with 120Hz support. Redmi has also equipped the K80 Ultra with Xiaomi’s Longjing Glass 2.0, which enhances scratch and impact resistance. At the heart of the Redmi K80 Ultra is the latest flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ Chip. This chipset is the most powerful chip from the house of Mediatek, built on TSMC’s 3nm architecture, offering lightning-fast performance and good efficiency.
Redmi has been at the forefront when it comes to the battery capabilities of its smartphones, and the K80 Ultra will be no different. It features a massive 7410mAh silicon carbon battery with 100W fast charging and, for the first time, by Bypass Charging Plus tech developed by Xiaomi.
K80 Ultra has also been equipped with the largest haptic motor in the history of Android phones, leaving users with a 3-dimensional, fulfilling, tangible input feel. To go with this, the company has also introduced what it terms as the most powerful smartphone speakers in the market, Master-level coaxial symmetrical dual speakers.
There is solid metal and glass build to give it a premium finish and body that matches up with its performance specifications. Another notable feature is the biometrics, which is a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. This fusion of high-end design and durability makes the K80 Ultra a showstopper.

Redmi K Pad
Redmi is also planning to release its first ever performance tablet but in a small form factor. The new tablet is officially announced to have a 8.8 inch 3K resolution LCD display paired with 165Hz high refresh rate. The new Redmi K Pad will also be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 9400+ processor for flagship level performance and efficiency. The battery capacity of the tablet is 7500mAh paired with 67W fast charging support.
