REDMI Turbo 5 has officially launched in India, bringing flagship-level performance, a large battery, and premium features at a competitive price point. The smartphone, which debuted last year in China, arrives in India with almost identical specifications to the Chinese variant.
The REDMI Turbo 5 features a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 3,500 nits. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. To handle intensive gaming and heavy workloads, REDMI has equipped the phone with a 3D ice-loop cooling system featuring a large 5,300mm² vapor chamber for improved heat management.
For photography, the smartphone includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear camera along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, it features a 20MP selfie camera for video calls and portraits.

REDMI Turbo 5 packs REDMI’s largest battery in India with a 7,540mAh capacity. Despite its massive battery, the phone maintains a compact design and focuses on delivering long-lasting performance. It supports 100W wired fast charging and also offers 27W reverse wired charging, allowing users to power other devices when needed.
The device runs on Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface and is promised to receive four years of software updates and six years of security updates. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP69K water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, RGB ring lighting around the camera module, and a metal frame design.
