Huawei has recently introduced its latest Mate XS foldable smartphone. It will feature a Falcon wing design along with innovative hinge and comes with a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
When folded, it will be a 6.6-inch screen with 2480 x 1148 pixels resolution. When unfolded, it will be an 8-inch screen and offers 2480 x 2200 pixels resolution. There is also a secondary 6.38-inch screen with 2480 x 892 pixels resolution.
The smartphone will run on Android 10 based EMUI 10.0.1. It will feature an intelligent multi-window function which divides 8-inch wide screen in two independent task interfaces. It is possible to open one App in 2 split windows to easily manage different tasks, due to Huawei App multiplier.
The Huawei Mate Xs specifications will feature an octa-core Kirin 990 5G SoC along with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM. The storage can be further expanded upon utilizing a NM card. It will come with dual SIM slots and will support 5G / 4G / 3G / 2G bands.
The smartphone will have Huawei’s innovative cooling system which will keep the handset cooled. It utilizes a flexible bionic graphite to dissipate heat even when folded. The mobile camera specs will feature a Leica Quad camera system consisting of 40MP + 16MP + 8MP + ToF camera. The CAM shooters will also couple up for the front camera.
The handset will be powered by a 4500 mAh battery capacity and will support 55W fast charging. There will be NFC support as well for making secure payments.
