Remove browser cookies

There is a huge chance of the Hulu 500 error occurring if you have too many browser cookies. In such cases, you will have to delete the cookies from your web browser and refresh the page to see if Hulu works or not. To remove the browser cookies, follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Click on the three-dot icon at the top right corner of your browser.

Step 2: Select the more tools option.

Step 3: Now select the Clear browsing data option. Make sure that you check the box labelled as ”clear cookies and Other Side data”.

Step 4: Now click on the clear data option.

Remove cache data

Removing cache data is a quick and easy fix to browser issues. To clear out the cache data follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Click on the three-dot icon at the top right corner of your browser.

Step 2: Click on the settings.

Step 3: Scroll and look for Clear browsing data. once found click on it.

This will help you clear out the cache data. Go back to your Hulu Browser and refresh the page. check if the error still exists. if it does move on to the next step.

Reload the page

Try exiting the Hulu Browser and relaunch it, then try to reload the webpage by clicking on the reload or refresh button at the top left corner of your browser. you can also use Ctrl + F5 to refresh your webpage.

Restart your internet

Exit from your Hulu web page and turn off your modem and router for a minute. Then, plug it back in. Restarting your internet is not a great fix and it works for almost all Hulu errors. If it doesn’t work for you, try the next solution.

Test your Internet connection speed

Hulu highly recommends using stable internet speed for on-demand streaming, around 3 Mbps. In case you are streaming live, the internet speed should be around 6 Mbps. You need to test your internet speed to see if you’re internet speed meets the Hulu streaming requirements. You can check your internet speed with any online tool.

Update Hulu app

If you are streaming via the Hulu app, make sure that your app is up-to-date. To check whether there is a new update or not, go to the Google Play Store. Click on the menu and select the option My apps and games. Now, look for the Hulu app and check if there is an update. If there is an update, update your app. Once the app is updated, close all apps and reboot your device.
