OnePlus is gearing up to launch its Nord series devices, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite, in India on May 7. The devices will come with significant upgrades across the board, with the Nord CE 6 shaping up to be one of the compelling mid-range smartphones of 2026.
The highlight of the Nord CE 6 is its massive 6.78-inch display featuring a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, promising an ultra-fluid user experience for gaming and everyday usage. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which is enough for day-to-day smooth performance and casual gaming sessions.
One of the biggest features of the Nord CE 6 is the enormous 8,000mAh battery, which is rare in this segment. This not only ensures extended usage but also supports reverse charging at 27W, making the device capable of powering other gadgets on the go. Additionally, OnePlus has gone all-in on durability, offering IP66, IP68, and even IP69/69K ratings, providing resistance against dust, water, and high-pressure conditions.
Other peripheral features include dual stereo speakers, enhanced 300% ultra volume. The device will run on OxygenOS 16 out of the box, bringing a refined UI and a suite of AI-powered features.
