Realme 16 Pro Set to Launch in India on January 6 with 200MP Camera and Dimensity 7300-Max

Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 16 Pro Series will be launched in India on January 6, 2026. The device will be aimed at the upper mid-range segment, and the new lineup seems to be the biggest upgrade, which is ready to set the bar for what users can expect from a “Pro” Realme smartphone.

Realme 16 Pro features a 200MP ICOSELL HP5 LumaColor camera. The camera system comes with Super OIS and full-pixel auto zoom, enabling 1x, 2x, and 4x lossless zoom. Realme has also confirmed TÜV Rheinland colour accuracy certification, promising more natural and consistent colours.

Realme 16 Pro also features a five focal length portrait system with options ranging from 1x to 4x, catering to full-body, half-body, and close-up portraits. The newly introduced Vibe Master Mode offers 21 preset portrait tones, optimised for different lighting conditions.

Additionally, AI Edit Genie allows users to tweak backgrounds, hairstyles, and other elements while maintaining facial consistency, making photo editing more intuitive and creative.

For video creators, the device supports 4K HDR video recording at both 1x and 2x zoom, along with subject tracking powered by the MainTrack algorithm. The device also packs a 7000mAh Titan Battery, supported by Super Power Saving Mode, bypass charging, and an AI battery management chip for improved long-term health. The brand has also confirmed that the device will have a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6500 nits. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G chipset, with Realme claiming an AnTuTu score of over 970,000.
