After making its debut in China earlier this year, the REDMI Turbo 5 is now officially heading to India. REDMI India has started teasing the upcoming smartphone, and its dedicated landing page has already appeared on Amazon India, confirming that the launch is just around the corner.
Although the company has not yet revealed the official launch date, the teaser suggests that the device could arrive in the next few days. REDMI has also remained silent on the Indian variant’s specifications, leaving everyone curious about whether it will be identical to the Chinese model or feature some region-specific changes.
In China, the REDMI Turbo 5 was introduced as a performance-focused smartphone with flagship-level features at a competitive price. The device features a large 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5k resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, promising vibrant visuals and fluid scrolling. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, delivering strong gaming and multitasking performance.
One of the biggest highlights of the smartphone is its massive 7,560mAh battery, which supports blazing-fast 100W wired charging. This combination could make the REDMI Turbo 5 one of the most battery-focused devices in its segment.
For photography, the smartphone features a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, while the front camera has a 20MP selfie camera.
